Alex's Bridal Shower
Here are a few pictures from Alex's bridal shower. I had so much fun with Karie, Marcie and Ashleigh setting up for the shower and then at the shower with Alex too. It's always a good time when someone has to stick 15 pieces of gum in her mouth!
Me and some of my beautiful cousins, Ashleigh, Marcie and Karie after we finished getting everything ready for the shower.
The yummy food and pretty flowers.
Alexandra playing the, never disappointing, bubble gum game!
My trip to AZ
This weekend, I went to Arizona! It was kind of a last minute trip to surprise my cousin, Alex, for her Bridal Shower. I came in Thursday night and got to see my brother, Jonny's, last basketball game of the season. On Friday, after a dinner at church, Alex was supposed to come to my cousin/sister-in-law, Marcie's house. My other cousin Karie picked me up and we headed to Marcie and Jared's. Karie knocked on the front door while I hid and she went inside, after she shut the door, I heard Karie say "and here's another package" and she opened the door and I walked in : ) Alex was very surprised to see me there, she said "what are you doing here?!"
I got to spend Saturday with Alex going to her wedding site and then Sunday I went to church and then the shower. Richard and I had to spend Valentine's Day away from each other, but it was nothing new since we have never been able to spend it together while Richard was away at school. Maybe next year will be our first <3
When it was time for me to leave yesterday, I didn't have to say any sad goodbye's or think about how long it would be until I came home again because Richard and I will be back in 2 weeks for Alex and Danny's wedding!! Can't wait : )
Me and Alex right after I surprised her.
Me and my cousin Ashleigh on Valentine's Day, hence the pink outfits.
My mom and I walking around Alex and Danny's wedding site, it is going to be a beautiful wedding!

Richard's Birthday!
Saturday, February 7th was Richard's 23rd birthday! We celebrated by going to breakfast at the original "Original Pancake House" in Portland with his parents, Don and Lori. They have an OPH in Scottsdale and we were happy to find out that the original one happened to be in Portland. It's a really neat restaurant that is in an old house and they have great food and amazing coffee! So after breakfast, Richard went golfing with his dad (and his new golf bag from me and my parents) and then we had dinner at a Teriaki place. Birthdays are a great time to have yummy food =)
The next day was Sunday, so a bunch of us in the youth had a little birthday party planned for Richard after the church service. I made a purple and orange cake, and our friend Erin made homemade ice cream! It was a great time and here are some pictures from the party.
Lighting the candles...
Singing...
And Richard blowing out the candles in one huge breath.
Happy Birthday Richard!! And the next day, Feb. 8th, was my brother Jesse's birthday, he turned 14! Happy Birthday Jesse!

Nannying
For the past 4 months, I have been nannying three days a week for a 2 year old girl named Zoey. She is adorable and so much fun to spend my days with! She calls me "Yesheanne" =) Last Friday I was with her from 6:30am to 5pm, which is a long time trying to keep a toddler occupied, so we decided to take a little trip to the river. Her house is really close the the WA/OR border and the Columbia river so I packed up her stroller and we took a walk along the river. It was great and she loved the water!
Here we are by the I5 freeway that crosses the river. Isn't she so cute?! She loved the camera =)
