Arizona for Easter

We left for Arizona on Easter afternoon and arrived around 5:30pm.  My parents house was full of family when we got there all excited to see us and meet Lucy :)

 We did a lot while we were there!  It was so much fun just hanging out in the beautiful weather with our family and friends.  We sure miss Arizona!

Easter 2012

Easter was a lot of fun with little Lucy.  I'm sure next year will be even more fun when we can decorate eggs and have an egg hunt with her.  She looked so pretty in her spring dress and sandals :)

We went to the Saturday night service at church because we were leaving for Arizona on Easter day.

Latest Lucy pictures

I don't seem to have much time now that there's a 3 month old living with us :)  but here are some recent pictures of our beautiful daughter.  Three months already!  Can hardly believe it!  She has started to laugh in the last couple of weeks.  It is the cutest thing!  She's also doing really well sleeping at night.  On a typical night she will go 8-10 hours between feedings, it's so nice getting better sleep.  She is such a happy, cuddly and sweet baby, we love her lots!

 We're on our way to Arizona next week!  We're so excited for everyone to get to meet Lucy, it will be a special time.  More pictures to come!

Uncle Jesse came to visit

My brother Jesse came to visit this past weekend!  He came up to see baby Lucy and to go with us on our youth group's winter retreat to Mt. Hood, OR.  It was so much fun having him here and I know Lucy loved meeting him.  Jesse was so great with her, he was a natural :)  I loved all the pictures they took together.  I can't wait for Lucy to meet her other Uncles when we go to AZ in April for Easter.  I'm sure Lucy will have a special bond with them.

Lucy's Dedication

A couple weekends ago Lucy was dedicated at our church.  Dedication basically means that Richard and I are dedicating our lives to bring Lucy up in a home filled with God and to live our lives in a way that reflects how Jesus lived.  It's different than being baptized, like I was as a baby, which is more of a choice she will make when she is older.  It was a really special time and I wish my family from AZ could have been there too.  We did record it though so they can watch it later :)  

My Godmother, Ginger, got this special dress for Lucy to wear at her dedication.  It was pink and frilly and of course Lucy looked adorable :)
