Donuts!

Richard and I made some yummy donuts the other morning! My mom used to make them when I was younger and the recipe is really simple and a nice change from cereal : )

1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough
1 quart of vegetable oil
Toppings: powdered sugar, cinnamon and sugar, chocolate sauce/icing, sprinkles and whatever else you can think of.

Poke a hole in the biscuit dough with your fingers. Heat the quart of oil in a frying pan on medium until hot. Drop the dough in the oil and fry each side for about one minute each, or until golden brown. Let the donuts drain on a paper towel and then decorate! It's easy if you put the sugar in a ziplock bag and shake the donuts in it.
